Start of International Project "NASPE"

 

Concentris is a key partner in the EC-funded, international project NASPE, which startet on January 1, 2009. NASPE follows new, innovative routes for the development of cantilever sensor based bio-assays for drug discovery and diagnostics. The project is carried out by 7 partners from 3 European countries.

Cantisens® CSR-801G: New Equipment for Materials Sciences and Gas Detection

 

Concentris announces its next generation cantilever sensor platform Cantisens Research CSR-801G for measurements in controlled gas flow and under controlled atmosphere. The multi-purpose instrument addresses customers in materials sciences interested in the properties of thin films and layered structures under controlled conditions as well as sensor developers in the area of gas sensing and electronic nose applications.

New measurement and training kits released.

 

Concentris has released the first cantilever sensor kits. These kits include all chemicals and protocols necessary to functionalize cantilever arrays and perform well documented measurements. The first kits present an excellent starting point for the design of new cantilever sensor assays and are ideal for training purposes. The first kit released allows DNA hybridization experiments, while the second kit has been designed for the detection of calcium ions.
